“Time spent with family, is worth every second”
For those who know me well and follow me on Instagram, will know that I usually disappear on Fridays (weekend in UAE). To me, Fridays are exclusive family days. And what’s a better way to spend the day other than having good food mixed with the best company.
Last Friday, we were invited to try out the Family Brunch at Kenza, Ramada Downtown Dubai and have to say that it was a day well spent.
The food spread was not the usual non-ending options that you usually see in Dubai Brunches, yet has enough to make everyone happy and was something that I liked. Normally, when we’re brunching or having a buffet dinner, we want to try everything and end up with so many wasted food, but this Friday, we were so proud to have full happy tummies with no waste :D.
The buffet was a mixture of modern Middle Eastern & International cuisine which is usually our preference as it meets all tastes.
In addition to that, a BBQ station was available with meat, chicken, fillet fish, kebab and shrimps grilled as per your request and preference.
Pasta station was also available and something I really liked as my kiddos love pasta and thus everyone is sorted ;).
Another attraction for the kids was their own buffet where nuggets, fries, popcorn and cotton candy were prepared upon their request.
Sushi counter, my all times favorite, (even though I still don’t know how to use the chopsticks easily), was also presented in a very Japanese way 😀 .
Last but not least, and the most presentable part of the brunch (in my opinion) was the Appetizers, Salads and Dessert corner. I liked the innovative stands and plates where they were settling on. It was tiny chairs and colored wooden baskets that will catch your sight from 1st glance <3. Also, the food lists written on those little chalkboards did a pretty nice job.
The kids had great time at the kids’ area getting their face painting and balloons’ customized ;). The area was placed outdoors and we chose to sit just beside it to make sure we keep an eye on them. The weather was lovely just a bit windy on the day.
