“Sufra” is an Arabic word that means dinning. And believe me, at Sufra, you’ll be dinning all day long without being able to stop.
Sufra is located at the ground level of the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. It’s a restaurant that serves Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Indian & Western food varieties. They also have a separate Mexican corner brought from the popular “La Tablita” restaurant.
Friday brunch at Sufra is specialized by family friendly atmosphere. To ensure the kids enjoy their time just as their parents, they serve a special kids’ food station.
At the kids’ counter, you’ll find a wide selection that meets all children’s tastes. They have the chicken nuggets, 2 types of pasta, smiley face potato chips, steamed vegetables, mini burgers, pastries, cupcakes and sweets.
Just beside the kids’ food station, you’ll find the kids’ play area where children can eat, do crafts, play and have their tattoos done as well ;). And all doesn’t need to be accompanied by moms (if your kiddo is big enough) as Sufra provides dedicated nannies to do the job for you while you enjoy your brunch.
Sufra offers a wide variety of food. As a kick off, we started with the creamy seafood soup which is my favorite and then headed to the starters. There were a big range to choose from, starting by salads & cheeses and ending with freshly prepared canapes.
After that, decided to pass by each counter and since we were seated beside the Mexican corner, it was my first stop. Then passed by the sushi and seafood counter that was beautifully presented and tasted OH SO GOOD. Afterwards, I spent some time by my favorite space at all times, the live cooking station. There, you can have your shrimps, lobsters, lamp chops and much more cooked as per your request by the most friendly chefs. Along side, you’ll see the Perkins duck counter that looks so YUM and makes you want to eat the whole thing.
There was also an Arabic food counter that has a great selection of tasty food and a special addition of a HUGE pink fish that tasted so delicious with it’s yummy dressing.
After being to all counters and trying almost everything, the dessert and fruits’ section seems to be a bit too much on your tummy, but once you see the beautifully presented colorful sweets and really nice fresh fruits, believe me, you will find a way to try some 😀
Overall, we had a great time and were really full by the time we left. I’ll leave you with some of the pictures captured on the day 🙂 hope you’ll enjoy them.

That’s an elaborate spread! Particularly like the idea of dedicated nannies to look after our kids 🙂

Yes; that was the great part about it even if my daughter didn’t apply but now I know where to go and have a peaceful brunch when she’s a bit older 😀
